Anointing of the Sick
The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is celebrated on the every first Friday of the month, following 8:30 a.m. Mass. You must be free to receive the Sacrament and have a serious illness. If you are planning on going to the hospital, please contact the Office at 325-0287 to make arrangements to receive the Sacrament of Anointing before going to the hospital. It is very difficult for our Priests to visit patients in the hospital.
"By the sacred anointing of the sick and the prayer of the priests the whole Church commends those who are ill to the suffering and glorified Lord, that he may raise them up and save them. And indeed she exhorts them to contribute to the good of the People of God by freely uniting themselves to the Passion and death of Christ." (CCC 1499)
